Important update: Student sponsor licence suspended
Status checked: 10 October 2026. The UK Home Office suspended Buckinghamshire New University’s Student sponsor licence on 30 September 2026. While the suspension remains in place, the university cannot sponsor new international students who require a UK Student visa or issue a new Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) for that purpose.
Students already sponsored by the university may continue their studies while the suspension is in place, provided their immigration permission remains valid. Domestic students and students who do not rely on Student-route sponsorship are not affected.
This is a suspension, not a confirmed permanent revocation. Until the Home Office confirms the outcome, Real Dreams is not accepting new sponsored international applications for this university. If you already hold an offer or CAS, contact the university directly for advice and read the official GOV.UK notice.
