Studying at University College Birmingham from Nepal

UCB September 2026 Postgraduate Intake — Nepal
Applications open until 31 August 2026. No initial deposit is required for Nepalese students before interview — students can make at least a 50% CAS deposit payment after the interview to claim the scholarship.
Academic requirement
- 3–year bachelor’s degree: 60% or above
- 4–year bachelor’s degree: 55% or above
- Gap acceptance: up to 10 years
- Pre–Masters / PGDip — 3–year bachelor’s: 55–59%; 4–year bachelor’s: 50–54%
English language requirement
- IELTS 6.0 overall, 5.5 in each band
- PTE 59 overall, 59 in each component
- Duolingo 105 overall — Reading 100; Listening, Writing and Speaking 95
- MOI accepted from Tribhuvan University, Pokhara University and Kathmandu University (maximum 5–year gap for MOI, and the student must make full payment for enrolment)
English language waiver is also available where the aggregate of Grade 12 English theory and internal marks reaches CGPA 3.0, for students completing in 2021 onwards. The calculation is (theory + internal) ÷ 2 — for example, 2.0 in theory and 4.0 in internal gives (2.0 + 4.0) ÷ 2 = 3.0, which qualifies.
